AZS Fused Cast Refractories for Glass Furnaces
High-performance refractories for glass melting furnace construction and repair across UAE and GCC
AZS Refractories for the Glass Industry
AZS fused cast refractories are the primary material used in glass melting furnace construction worldwide. They offer exceptional resistance to corrosion from molten glass at temperatures up to 1,700°C, making them essential for ensuring long furnace life and high-quality glass output.
Alzar FZE represents Guangzhou LingNan Refractory Co. (est. 1981) and Refmon Co. of Hungary for supplying AZS refractories and monolithic solutions to glass manufacturers across the UAE and GCC countries.
AZS & Refractory Products
Fused Cast AZS (SJ-33, SJ-36, SJ-41)
Fused cast AZS (Alumina-Zirconia-Silica) refractories are the primary material for glass melting furnace construction. Produced by LingNan Refractory Co., which operates 7 arc furnaces with an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons. Available in three quality classes: SJ-33 (33% ZrO₂), SJ-36 (36% ZrO₂), and SJ-41 (41% ZrO₂).
Fused Cast Alumina
High-purity fused cast alumina in two grades: SJ-M and SJ-H. Used in areas requiring high resistance to corrosion from molten glass. Annual production capacity of 3,000 tons from LingNan.
Fused Zircon & Molybdenum Electrodes
Fused zircon with 1,000 tons annual capacity, plus molybdenum and SnO₂ electrodes used in electric boosting of glass furnaces. Critical components for glass melting furnace construction and repair.
